CURATED STORIES. BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED

Every Living Images album begins with curation and is completed through artisanal craft, entirely in the UK. Once Claire has shaped the story, she guides its making with a specialist Yorkshire-based workshop selected for its materials, skill, sustainable approach and exacting finish.

Claire remains present in the details that give each album its character: the scale, the paper, the cover, the colour, the title and the final feel of the finished piece.  The result is not simply a printed book, but a beautifully made object with weight, texture and permanence.

PAPER, PRINT & SURFACE

The experience of leafing through an album full of cherished images is as much about the feel as the look. Living Images albums use archival quality, pigment-based inks that will not fade over time, printed directly onto acid-free fine 200gsm art paper chosen for its smooth surface, matte finish and art-white tone.

The spreads open flat, so photographs can be given space across the page without interruption. Every spread has depth, delicacy and a calm tactile quality, ensuring each album is as lovely on the inside as it is on the outside.

COVER, COLOUR & FINISH

Albums can be created in a considered range of materials and finishes, including leather, cotton, linen. The choice may be led by the character of the project, by client preference, the interior it will live in, the person receiving it or simply a colour that feels instinctively right.

Titles and finishing details can be chosen with care, from blind embossing to foil stamping or a simple printed title. It is possible to use bespoke titles, logos or motifs. Claire’s expertise will help guide you through the process.
